Hello! If you put a few “I Love Lucy” re-runs, a bit of jazz music, some pickles, and a big heart together you might find me! Yes, my name is Katie, and I do love I Love Lucy re-runs, pickles, jazz and people, but that is not all. I live in a small rural town in south-central Pennsylvania and sometimes, you can even smell chocolate in the air from the local Hershey’s Chocolate Factory. It sure is a sweet town! I’ve spent two years studying at Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee; first with a major in music education and now anthropology. I enjoy trying new foods, traveling, music, quotes, culture, and being outdoors. One of my favorite quotes is, “To become a happy person have a clean soul, eyes that see romance in the common place, a child’s heart, and spiritual simplicity.” Presently, I have a desire to know and experience the Lord in a new way. I have been blessed with a strong family upbringing, but now I am faced with what seems to be the challenge of so many others—walking with God in faith, on my own.
